The aim of this talk is to understand what it means for a sequence of Riemannian manifolds, or more generally metric spaces, to converge to a space.
We will see a weak form of convergence called Gromov-Hausdorff convergence for compact metric spaces.
Gromov-Hausdorff metric, Hausdorff metric, Gromov-Hausdorff convergence
The talk is mostly based on the 10th chapter of the book Riemannian Geometry by Peter Petersen
